Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Disappointment
I loved the Rich Dad Poor Dad book, which has had an impact on my way of thinking, so I decided to buy the Financial IQ one. A big disappointment and a waste of time and money:
The book is unstructured, no message as such, repeats the same old concepts and really is only about "how great he did". My second and last book of R Kyosaki.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The important is the process: not the goal; it's to say forge your own life experience!
My respected and appreciated reader: after having finished the reading of this book, by some reason came to my mind these wise observation made by Joseph Campbell at the end of the interview in "The power of myth" in which he is requested about if he was a man of faith. His answer was: "I don't need the faith, because I have the experience."

And this incisive but bold observation allowed me to establish a silver bridge respect Kiyosaki in those times of uncertainness through which for ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great insight!
Kiyosaki is a great author and really has some great insight in this book. I highly suggest it. As in most of his books, don't buy it if you're looking for specifics on building a business or going into real estate. Robert simply gives a glimpse of how the rich think to those of us who are not rich.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Yet another blowhard guru in a world filled with them...
This is my first exposure to Kiyosaki's writing, I wasn't familiar with his "rich dad/poor dad" series prior to picking this one up on sale at Borders. "Increase your financial IQ" is a book written by Kiyosaki to help mere financial mortals like myself understand money and personal finance (thru his "rich dad" eyes). It's a primer on the basics: what money is, what currency is, what the basic financial construct is that we all must work within. And for this Kiyosaki actually does a pretty good job ... Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - WARNING: Read this book at your own risk!
That's right this book is dangerous! Especially to the lazy, complacent or those satisfied to remain forever in debt and enslaved to the J-O-B.

A great man once said that "a mind stretched by a new idea can never return to it's former narrow views." This book will STRETCH the mind for the better!

I HIGHLY recommend this education for anyone who is serious about building a lifestyle rather than just making a living.
