![]() Rating: - Finally I understand...This is one of the best books on money I have ever read. The authors do explain how international trade works, interest rates, etc. and relate all that to the movements of the FOREX ( Foreign Currency Exchange) markets. I have struggled to achieve some degree of financial literacy ( from no background at all, other than a checking account and a few CD's). This book explains things clearly, and has filled in a lot of gaps about how the world of money works. But, it's not about how ... Read More Rating: - I'm VERY glad I started with this bookLike probably most of you who have "heard about this Forex thing" and would like to learn more, there is an overwhelming abundance of information both on websites and in book form. I am sure a lot of it is really good info, and of course there are plenty of scams, too. These last two obviate the need to buy the book unless your internet access is spotty. As with most introductory FX books, it contains some pearls of wisdom and mostly the standard hash of fundamentals, chartistry, and theorizing. If you already own such an intro book, it is unlikely that this book will have much added value. However, if this is your first FX book, ... Profiting With Forex was just about to be published. John Jagerson dropped in on our class one day and I had the pleasure of speaking with him, briefly. What struck me was how he is truly interested in helping others learn the forex world. The book itself reflects this. It is an easy read and, yet, contains all the information you need to begin trading. From terminology, money management, ... Read More |
